Celebrated National Children’s Day 2022 with children from Udayapur

 

Sep 22, 2022, Udayapur: On the Occasion of 58th National Children’s Day, SWAN organized a “Quizz Competition” in close collaboration with the Katari Municipality in Udayapur. 28 schools of Katari Municipality participated in the competition in a child-friendly environment with girls’ participation on each team. Theme of the National Children’s Day was ‘Foundation of Child-friendly Society: Responsible Family, Accountable Society’. The quiz was aimed to encourage school children for their meaningful participation, engagement, and interaction among team members while also developing learning habits at the young age.

Shree Chandrawati Secondary School from Katari-14 was announced as the winner of the quiz competition. Shree Janata Kalika Secondary School from Katari-10, Shree Janata Boarding School from Katari-8, and Shree Sagarmatha English Boarding School from Katari-3 bagged the first runner up, second runner up and third runner up positions, respectively. In addition, SWAN distributed prizes to the winner, first runner up, second runner up, and third runner up in the quiz competition amid a function in the presence of the representatives of the Katari Municipality, local leaders, teachers, and students among others. Following the announcement of the winners, Mr. Shyam Kumar Majhi, Field Coordinator, Udayapur – congratulated the winners and thanked all the teachers and schools for their active participation and support.

 

” We were able to bag first position among 28 schools, but the competition was really tough. It was a fun and interactive experience with lot of new friends from different schools. We are so grateful for organizing the quiz for children.”
