Inclusive Education

SWAN ensures and inspires inclusion of differently-abled children, children with learning difficulties and all the female children at the schools. We also provide sponsorship to the students with disabilities.

SWAN established a unique Kindergarten school for the Dalit community. Gradually, the school started to integrate children from other communities as well. This had an immense impact on reduction of the concept of “untouchability” in the village contributing to a huge social change. Midday meals were also provided to the children.

We further supported construction of a hostel building for the visually impaired students at Shree Janata Dhana Higher Secondary School, Baglung. Likewise, we work hard to ensure timely logistics, renovation and maintenance of the infrastructures, and education supplies in a bid to support children with disabilities.
