Education is a fundamental human right. However, our experience over the years shows that quality education in community schools remains limited due to issues like underfunding, untrained teachers, weak school leadership, and poor infrastructure. These challenges results in poor learning outcomes, high dropout rates, and irregular attendance, which affect students’ future opportunities and continue the cycle of poverty.
Therefore, our goal is to improve access to quality education from early childhood to secondary level in community schools across Nepal through the following approach.
OUR APPROACH
-Providing scholarship support for underprivileged children.
-Strengthening community schools through the construction and renovation of infrastructure.
-Empowering teachers through pedagogical trainings.
-Providing education, sports and essential resources (library, furniture, uniforms etc.) for children.
-Focusing on early education through Early Childhood Development (ECD) interventions.
-Involving local government, school management committee and parents to ensure quality education in community schools for sustainability.
Promoting early education for holistic child development.
